Post-Gluhen Weiss Kreuz (that means spoilers, folks!), weird, takes Side B into account but doesn't utilize it. AU?

Basically, this came to me this morning (while still sleeping, I think. I was slightly lucid but not awake), and wouldn't let go, so I'm getting some the beginning down.
